Back to case studies7 ½ John Wood Street is a Regeneration Centre providing services throughout the Port Glasgow area. The centre’s heritage project is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Its activities include a heritage project which recently produced a highly popular book outlining a “Peoples’ History of Port Glasgow”, available free to the public.
The centre’s future plans include a deaf media project, an expansion of the Trust Employability sister project with the inclusion of workers dedicated to the government funded Future Jobs Fund.
